Welcome to Diego Caravan #255 - International Order of Alhambra
The Order of Alhambra (named after a palace in Grenada, Spain)
was founded in Brooklyn, New York in 1904. Alhambra is a Catholic organization dedicated to assisting developmentally disabled persons.
Members belong to Caravans, & our local unit is called Diego Caravan #255, Chartered in Englewood, Florida, 1997. We are a non-profit organization.
Diego Caravan provides support, aid and assistance to the Loveland Center, S.T.A.R., and other organizations and their developmentally disabled students, programs, and projects in Southwest Florida. We, at Diego Caravan, mostly assist adults.
The Members of the Order focus on sociability and fund raising to advance its goals & objectives.
Membership in our Order is open to Christian men and women who have a desire to help and support God's Special People.
